Fall
The leaves have fallen around Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM). The cooler mornings are here, and sunset occurs faster now after the recent time change. Nonetheless, Liberty University (LU) is thriving and there’s a lot happening around the LU community. Do you know about the recent announcement of Liberty athletics programs moving to Conference USA, starting with the 2023-24 athletics season? This is a game-changer especially for Flames’ football. The recently held all-day fundraising drive, Giving Day, was a huge success as 6,466 supporters from around the world joined Liberty to help “fuel the fire” giving over $2.9 million to bolster academic and athletic programs and provide scholarships for current and future Champions for Christ. The money from the annual event will fund over 100 campaign initiatives across campus. Read more exciting Liberty news.
The Legacy Continues: Five Students Share Their Stories (Part One)
To help acclimate you to LUCOM prior to next summer’s orientation, LUCOM Admissions invites you to meet Harrison, Taylor, Brenner, Andrew, and Hannah as they share a brief message on why those choose LUCOM for their osteopathic medical education. Watch their story on Vimeo.
Social Media
As a newly accepted student to LUCOM, we encourage you to join the LUCOM Class of 2026 Facebook Group — you will need a Facebook account to do so. Once logged into Facebook, search for “LUCOM Class of 2026” and request to join. You should be granted access quickly. This is a private group for accepted students only. In previous years, this group has helped incoming Liberty University osteopathic medicine students connect with each other before orientation and find roommates.
