Happy New Year!
On behalf of the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) Office of Admissions, we wish you a Happy New Year. Did you make any resolutions? According to Tracy Brower, a contributor to Forbes, she says there are four good reasons to make resolutions even if you don’t intend to keep them. “Number one: the key to improvement is being honest about where you are and see where you want to go. Number two: there is something optimistic and hopeful about making resolutions. Number three: your resolutions may have a positive impact on others. Finally: others may be inspired when you attempt to make bigger contributions and to do better.”
With that said, LUCOM Admissions wishes you a great start to a new year and may your resolutions become a reality, or at the very least, be an inspiration in the days ahead.

Did you know?
Did you know that several military branches participate in the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)? Through this program, qualified individuals can receive service scholarships to support their osteopathic medical education. Recently, LUCOM staff and faculty heard a great report that 11 of 11 student-doctors in the upcoming graduating Class of 2022 who serve in the military matched with postgraduate residency training programs. This is incredible and we celebrate their accomplishments. Learn more about LUCOM’s Service Agreements.
Pictured above is a highlight from LUCOM’s annual Research Day held on Friday, Jan. 7, that highlighted LUCOM student-doctor work and collaborative findings. Read the story.
