If you’re excited about making a real impact through policy and want to use Christian values to guide you, Liberty University’s online Doctor of Public Policy (D.P.P.) could be the perfect next step. This program is designed for students who want to make a positive difference by exploring how to study, create, and apply policies that solve real problems. With a focus on practical solutions, the D.P.P. can help you learn how to tackle today’s most important challenges and create meaningful change.
In this program, you will dive into how public policies are made in the United States, studying the systems, people, and steps that shape decisions. You will also explore the Christian beliefs and historical ideas behind America’s government with support from experienced professors. This knowledge can help you uniquely understand policy — looking at both the facts and the values that matter most. By earning your doctorate in public policy at Liberty University, you can be better prepared to lead in government, teach future leaders, or work in advocacy — all while staying true to biblical principles and helping improve the world around you.

- Evaluate and study how to craft effective public policies that address real-world issues

In our online public policy doctorate program, you can develop a deep understanding of the core ideas that shape American governance, with a strong emphasis on the concept of independence and its roots in a Christian worldview.
