At Liberty, we’ve created our family and consumer sciences degree with a specialization in professional and creative industries to give you the education, resources, and experience you need to excel in the event planning field.

  • The management of resources in balancing the multiple roles and responsibilities of family members, including the application of critical thinking to resolve issues, prioritize needs, and set goals
  • The theory and application of financial management principles related to the family throughout the life cycle with a focus on an analysis of the relationship between family values and use of resources

    Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Degree Programs

    Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:

    • Admission application
    • Official high school transcripts
    • Official college transcripts (if applicable)
    • Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
    • Admission essay

    *Note that additional documentation may be requested by the admission committee after your application has been received.
