Liberty University has partnered with #1 New York Times bestselling author and Christian novelist, Karen Kingsbury, to create the Karen Kingsbury Center for Creative Writing. Kingsbury has contributed content for several online courses and online programs, including a minor in creative writing and a Master of Arts in Professional Writing.
Karen shares her insight and industry-specific tips to propel you in the right direction in this fast-growing career field. Through her insight and teachings, you can enhance your skills in story development, marketing, and publishing pieces on both written and video platforms.

Minor in Creative Writing (Offered through the Karen Kingsbury Center for Creative Writing)
This minor will provide you with the opportunity to study under Karen Kingsbury and learn about the writing process and publishing industry. You may choose a fiction or non-fiction emphasis and learn many useful skills such as editing, layout, and publishing skills.

Bachelor of Science in English and Writing
Our online bachelor’s degree in English and writing will prepare you to pursue careers in technical writing, website content writing, or social media management. - Upon completion of this degree, you will receive 18 graduate hours in composition, allowing you to teach first-year writing courses in a college or university.

Our online master’s degree in professional writing is a practical degree useful for communication professionals.
