New Online Application System

The Liberty University Human Resources Office is pleased to announce that we are transitioning to an online paperless application system in February 2010. The new system will allow applicants to complete employment applications online from any computer with internet access at any time of day. Applicants will be able to apply for as many positions as they wish and will be able to monitor the status of their application for each position for which they applied. This new system will also reduce the hassle and mailing expense associated with a previous paper application system. The new online application system will be going live on February 1, 2010.

In the two weeks preceding the new system release, since we will be transitioning between the two systems, we will be doing things differently in order to smoothly move from one system to the other. Effective January 18, 2010 HR will no longer be accepting paper applications. However, applicants will be able to start an online application from January 18–31, 2010 in preparation for the February 1, 2010 system release date. Applicants can create an application online which will be reviewed and then made ready for distribution once job postings start to go live during the first week of February. Once the new job postings go live, those applicants who created an application prior to the release date may then simply go in to the system and send their applications to all the specific job positing in which they are interested.

The HR Office is equipped with three computer kiosks to assist applicants who do not have ready access to a computer. Please stop by our office during normal business hours to use one of the kiosks if you do not have access to a computer.

We are very excited about our new online paperless application system and believe it will be of great value to you as an applicant once it is fully launched on February 1, 2010. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make this transition a smooth and beneficial one.
