Spring 2014 ministry team tour schedule

Each semester Liberty University students use the talents God has given them to encourage the local church and share the love of Christ with those who have never heard it. Liberty University’s Department of Ministry Teams sends students with both musical and athletic gifts across the state and across the country to take the Gospel message to audiences of all ages.

Sounds of Liberty

Sounds of LibertyAs Liberty’s flagship traveling ministry team, Sounds of Liberty leads groups in worship at various locations to share Christ’s message. This group, made up of five vocalists, a five-piece band, and an audio technician, performs nearly 100 concerts annually, ministering in some of America’s largest churches and organizational events.

S.O.A.R. Dunk

Soar DunkAs Liberty’s most unconventional ministry team, S.O.A.R. is a high-flying dunk basketball team that uses acrobatic maneuvers off of trampolines to dazzle crowds of all ages. S.O.A.R. Dunk visits youth groups, pep rallies, school assemblies/chapels, and various sporting events. The members are not afraid of flying high above the rim, nor boldly sharing their faith in Jesus Christ while using their own worship style.

Exodus

ExodusExodus is a modern worship band that uses today’s Christian music to boldly lead others in worship. During the school year, this seven-member team travels throughout the U.S. and Canada ministering in churches, high schools, and youth camps to spread the message of Christ.

Crimson Flood

Crimson FloodCrimson Flood is one of Liberty’s premier worship bands. With a bold sound and unique musical diversity, this all-male group effectively bridges the gap between generations of worshipers, making them a favorite among churches everywhere.

Awaken

AwakenThis all-girl ministry team focuses on ministering to women through worship. Awaken targets teen girls and uses music to help bring young women to a deeper relationship with their Creator. God wants everyone to engage the culture with their faith and the ministry of Awaken calls young ladies to the front lines.

Seventy-One

Seventy OneNamed after the year Liberty was founded, Seventy-One is the newest addition to the Department of Ministry Teams. While leading worship, Seventy-One strives to spread God’s love and message to all that will listen. This seven-member worship band combines relevant worship tunes with both cover and original songs.
