When a new 100-acre addition to the Liberty Golf Practice Facility opened on Liberty Mountain last fall, Vice President and Director of Athletics Ian McCaw called it “one of the finest golf practice facilities in the country.” (View the course layout.)
Top-notch athletics and academics programs are the hallmark of Liberty University. Generous supporters partner with Liberty every year to ensure that students have all the resources they need to succeed. Alumni brothers Kevin and Kyle VanDuser of Florida are examples of faithful supporters. Kyle played linebacker for the Flames from 2008-2010; their father, Kevin VanDuser Sr., played in 1984, and Kevin Jr. was an assistant strength coach.

Kyle VanDuser
“This is an unbelievable university that forms young champions,” Kyle said. “My dad told me everything you need to focus on to have a successful life, Liberty just infused that in everything it does, from the classroom to the professors, the coaching staff, the athletics staff. They kept me on the right path as I was still maturing and still growing.”
As second-generation Flames fans, the VanDuser family decided to support their Flames through a naming opportunity for the new golf range. Both brothers are avid golfers, and Kevin is the founder and CEO of GOATED Golf, which offers premium golf products, so it was a perfect way to merge their love for their alma mater and their passion for the sport.
Others have found long-lasting relationships at Liberty and have chosen to support their alma mater.

Kevin Bush
Kevin Bush, a Liberty alumnus and businessman from Naples, Fla., recently supported the new practice facility through a naming opportunity for three tee boxes in cooperation with his companies, Bush Family Partnerships and Leadline Inc. The tee box signs were presented to Bush last fall, when he took part in Liberty’s CEO Summit as a panelist and judge for the Business Accelerator live pitch event.
