Amber Bateman holds a B.A. degree in Communication, with a minor in Religious Studies, from Southeastern University near Tampa, Florida. Further studies led her to the Institute for Global Opportunities in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Currently, she is pursuing a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Amber has over ten years of experience in the helping profession, serving with a therapeutic wilderness camp, pregnancy care center, Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch mentoring program, and Sexual Assault Response Program. She is the (co)author of two books, Little Women in the Wilderness (2012) and Reflections Along the Trail (2016). Amber and her husband, Greg, enjoy international travel, theatre, and dance.
