Bachelor of Science in Social Work – Oregon

LU’s BSSW program offers all the courses and internships necessary to meet education requirements for licensure in Oregon* for any of the following credentials. Students are encouraged to meet with their gate advisor by contacting bssw@liberty.edu for course selection and sequencing information to ensure they will meet the requirements for their specific license of choice.

Registered Baccalaureate Social Worker (RBSW)

• Exam Requirement: The candidate must pass an ASWB exam for the appropriate licensure level.
• Post-Degree Supervised Experience Requirement: No post-degree supervised experience required before licensure.
• Additional Requirements
  • The applicant must achieve a score of 90 percent on the examination on the Oregon BLSW statutes and rules prepared by the board.
