Healthcare, Aging, & Medical Social Work – New Hampshire
LU’s BSSW program offers all the courses and internships necessary to meet education requirements for licensure in New Hampshire* for any of the following credentials. Students are encouraged to meet with their gate advisor by contacting bssw@liberty.edu for course selection and sequencing information to ensure they will meet the requirements for their specific license of choice.

Licensed Social Work Associate (LSWA)
- Exam Requirement: The candidate must pass an ASWB exam for the appropriate licensure level.
- Post-Degree Supervised Experience Requirement: In a period of no less than two (2) years but no more than four (4) years, the candidate must have completed at least 4,000 hours of Post-Degree experience in clinical social work under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT), a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), or a licensed pastoral physiotherapist. This must be concurrent with a minimum of 100 hours of direct, individual clinical supervision at a rate of one (1) hour per week.

- During the period of supervised practice, completed 30 hours of continuing education in the following areas:
- Ethical and professional behavior
- Advancing human rights and social, racial, economic, and environmental justice
- Anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion in practice
- Practice-informed research and research-informed practice
- Policy practice
- Engagement with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities
- Assessing individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities
- Intervention with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities
- Evaluation of practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities
