Social Work: Healthcare, Aging, & Medical Social Work – New Mexico
LU’s BSSW program offers all the courses and internships necessary to meet education requirements for licensure in New Mexico* for any of the following credentials. Students are encouraged to meet with their gate advisor by contacting bssw@liberty.edu for course selection and sequencing information to ensure they will meet the requirements for their specific license of choice.

Licensed Bachelor of Social Work (LBSW)
- Exam Requirement: The candidate must pass an ASWB exam for the appropriate licensure level.
- Post-Degree Supervised Experience Requirement: No post-degree supervised experience required before licensure.
- Additional Requirements
- Completed a required course in New Mexico cultures.
- Passed the New Mexico Jurisprudence exam.
