Educational Requirements

According to Missouri’s Department of Education:

The state of Missouri offers the following endorsements. 

Missouri offers Building-Level Administrator: Principal

Additional Requirements (After Degree Conferral)

  1. Please submit all licensure documents (located on the Gate 4 Checklist) to gate4@liberty.edu.
  2. Gate 4 will complete a College Verification Form which will be used to add on the Administration and Supervision endorsement to the Virginia licensure. 
  3. After obtaining a Virginia license with the Administration and Supervision Add-On, students can then apply for a Missouri license through reciprocity. 

    Reciprocity

    An individual with a valid certificate from another state can be granted a comparable certificate in Missouri. Verification of certification from the other state must be provided. Depending on the number of previous years of teaching experience, the individual may qualify for an initial or career certificate.
