Community Health – Washington
This is a non-licensure program and is not designed or advertised to meet licensure or certification requirements in your state.
The School of Nursing meets education requirements for this program, set forth by the Washington State Nursing Commission. However, Liberty University School of Nursing students in this program are not approved for practicum in the State of Washington. LUSON will support practicum placement in an approved state. For more information on which states are approved for practicum, please reach out to our Practicum Coordinators.
All students are required to have a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License prior to enrollment in this program.
Washington State License Requirements:
a. RN License.
i. You must maintain a current, unencumbered RN license for any Nursing program.
ii. Washington is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact Administration, therefore, to participate in a practicum or shadow experience in an approved state, the student must hold an active RN license or a multi-state license in the state where the practicum experience takes place.
iii. Any change in licensure status must be reported to the Liberty University School of Nursing Online Student Support Coordinator
