School Administration and Supervision – Connecticut

Educational Requirements

According to the Connecticut Department of Education:

The state of Connecticut offers the following endorsements.

• Connecticut offers Intermediate Administration Certification or Supervision Certification (092).

Additional Requirements (During Degree Program)

1. Students will need to pass the Connecticut Administrator Test. 

Additional Requirements (After Degree Conferral)

1. Please submit all licensure documents (located on the Gate 4 Checklist) to gate4@liberty.edu. 
2. Gate 4 will complete a College Verification Form which will be used to add the Administration and Supervision endorsement to the Virginia license. 
3. After obtaining a Virginia license with the Administration and Supervision Add-on, students can then apply for an Connecticut license through reciprocity.

Reciprocity 

Connecticut provides fully licensed educators a path to certification based on where they’re already certified. Follow a streamlined application process by submitting the following forms and documentation if you have a valid certificate from Alabama, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, or Wisconsin.
