Educational Requirements

According to the Oklahoma Department of Education

The state of Oklahoma offers the following endorsements

  • Oklahoma offers a Principal endorsement.  

Additional Requirements (After Degree Conferral)

  1. Please submit all licensure documents (located on the Gate 4 Checklist) to gate4@liberty.edu. 
  2. Gate 4 will complete a College Verification Form which will be used to add on the Administration and Supervision endorsement to Virginia licensure.
  3. Students will be required to pass the Principal Oklahoma Subject Area Tests.
  4. After obtaining a Virginia license with the Administration and Supervision Add-On,  students can then apply for an Oklahoma license through reciprocity.

Reciprocity 

If you hold a full teaching credential issued by any state’s Department of Education, you are eligible for certification in Oklahoma’s most equivalent subject areas.
