According to the Alabama Department of Education:
The state of Alabama offers the following endorsements.

This program will be closing effective July 1, 2024. We recommend the student enrolls in the new MAT: Secondary Education cognate specific program.
The following endorsements are NOT offered in Alabama for MAT: Secondary Education:

Additional Requirements (After Degree Conferral)
- Please submit all licensure documents (located on the Gate 4 Checklist) to gate4@liberty.edu.
- Students will need to obtain their Virginia license first to qualify for reciprocity.
- Gate 4 will complete a College Verification Form which will be used to apply for Virginia licensure.
- After obtaining a Virginia license students can then apply for an Alabama license through reciprocity.
Reciprocity
Individuals who hold a valid professional educator certificate issued by another state, the District of Columbia, a United States Territory, or the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) may wish to apply for Alabama certification through Certificate Reciprocity. Along with holding a valid professional educator certificate, other ancillary requirements (background clearance, experience, etc.) must be met.
