- Engineering
The state of Wisconsin offers the following endorsements:
- Biology: Science (4-12) Biology is offered as a Supplemental Teaching License
- Business Education (K-12)
- Chemistry: Science (4-12). Chemistry is offered as a Supplemental Teaching License
- Computer Science (4-12)
- English and Language Arts (4-12)
- Family and Consumer Education (4-12)
- Health and P.E.: Health (K-12) and Physical Education (K-12) as two separate licenses
- Mathematics (4-12)
- Music: Choral: Music (K-12)
- Music: Instrumental: Music (K-12)
- Physics Education: Science (4-12). Physics is offered as a Supplemental Teaching License.
- Physics Education: Earth Science: Earth and Space Science is offered as a Supplemental Teaching License.
- Social Studies (4-12)
- Spanish (K-12)
- TESL: English as Second Language (K-12).
- Theatre (K-12)
- Visual Arts (K-12)
Reciprocity
- Applicants have completed the testing requirements of a state-approved educator preparation program and are eligible for licensure in that state. Candidates should apply for the Wisconsin license that most closely matches their out-of-state license. Upon application, a review will be completed to determine comparability with Wisconsin preparation, testing, and statutory requirements.
2. License Based on Reciprocity Pathway
- The License Based on Reciprocity is a Tier II three-year renewable educator license. The License Based on Reciprocity is available for teacher and administrator licenses, but it is not available for pupil services licenses.
