Doctor of Nursing Practice – California
This is a non-licensure program and is not designed or advertised to meet licensure or certification requirements in your state.
The School of Nursing meets education requirements for this program, set forth by the California Board of Nursing.
All students are required to have a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License prior to enrollment in this program.
California State License Requirements:
a. RN License.
i. You must maintain a current, unencumbered RN license for any Nursing program.
ii. California is not a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact Administration, therefore, to participate in a practicum or shadow experience in the state of California, the student must hold an active, California RN license.
iii. Any change in licensure status must be reported to the Liberty University School of Nursing Online Student Support Coordinator
