Marriage & Family Therapy – Colorado
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
The MA Marriage and Family Therapy program meets educational requirements to become licensed in this state. Our program is not COAMFTE accredited; therefore, students must obtain an education review from the Center for Credential and Education (CCE) to determine if education is equivalent to a COAMFTE approved program before applying.
Extra P/I requirements: Colorado requires a minimum of three hundred (300) clinical contact hours with individuals, couples, families, and other systems physically present, of which at least one hundred (100) hours must be relational. The hours must occur over a minimum of twelve (12) months of clinical practice.
