Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Wisconsin requires that applicants for this licensure have a 60-credit hour (90 quarter hour) master’s degree from a program accredited by its regional accrediting association at the time the applicant graduated from the program and was part of a program of studies leading to a master’s degree or doctoral degree in a field closely related to professional counseling or rehabilitation counseling. The program must include 100 hours supervised practicum and 600 hours supervised internship.
