Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP) – North Carolina
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
North Carolina requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s degree (minimum of 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours) in counseling or related field from an institution of higher education that is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs. Applicants must pass the Jurisprudence Exam through the state board within 6 months prior to licensure.
