Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Iowa requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s degree in mental health counseling with at least 60 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours, from a CACREP-accredited program or a program that receives approval through the Center for Credentialing and Education, Inc.
