Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Guam requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s from an accredited school in the US or Territory.

  • Human Growth and Development
  • Social/Cultural Foundations
  • Counseling Theories and Techniques
  • Group Work
  • Career and Lifestyle Development
  • Appraisal (test and measurements for individuals and groups)
  • Research and Program Evaluation
  • Professional Orientation (to counseling)
  • Professional Ethics
  • Practicum, consisting of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours
  • Internship, consisting of a minimum of six hundred (600) hours
