Advanced Standing Master of Social Work: General – New Hampshire
LU’s MSW program offers all the courses and internships necessary to meet education requirements for licensure in New Hampshire* for any of the following credentials. Students are encouraged to meet with their gate advisor by contacting msw@liberty.edu for course selection and sequencing information to ensure they will meet the requirements for their specific license of choice.

Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Exam Requirement: The candidate must pass an ASWB exam for the appropriate licensure level.
- Postgraduate Supervised Experience Requirement: The candidate must have completed at least two (2) years (OR 3,000 hours) of postgraduate experience in clinical social work under the supervision of a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) or a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC) supervisor. This must be concurrent with a minimum of 100 hours of direct clinical supervision, of which at least one (1) hour per week must be individual.
- A current master licensed alcohol and drug counselor (MLADC) license issued by the board of licensing for alcohol and other drug use professionals may be substituted for up to 1,500 hours of the required 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.

School Social Worker
