Liberty meets education requirements.

Master of Architecture – Vermont

Master of Architecture Professional Program

Liberty University’s Master of Architecture is not currently accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) but is pursuing candidacy toward accreditation to meet the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) education standard for professional degree programs leading to licensure. In jurisdictions listed as meeting educational requirements, the program may support alternative routes to initial licensure, but graduates must satisfy all additional jurisdictional requirements where they reside and plan to practice.  A “meets” determination does not guarantee licensure.

Alternative Pathway

In this jurisdiction, an alternative pathway to licensure is available.

Non-NAAB initial path: Yes, through a jurisdiction-specific alternative pathway.

Current education-path screening: Liberty’s unaccredited Master of Architecture may contribute educational credit, but the graduate must satisfy additional experience, AXP, ARE, documentation, and board-review requirements.

When the program’s accreditation status changes, Liberty will update its disclosures and program information to reflect applicable jurisdictional requirements. The information below outlines the basic NCARB jurisdictional requirements, including any designated alternative pathways.
