Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC)
Utah requires applicants for this licensure have a graduate degree, and 200 hours of substance use disorder-related education. A Human Growth and Development course is required, which is not built into this program. Students can take FSPC 502 to meet this requirement. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of two hours of suicide prevention training. Students will need to take CRIS 606, and can complete the free training options provided by the state of Utah.
