Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor (CADC III)
Oregon requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s degree, including a minimum of 300 hours of Alcohol, Drug, Addictions Education including the following topical hours
- Basic Counseling Skills (Distance or online education not accepted for this practice class)
- Group Counseling Skills (Distance or online education not accepted for this practice class)
- A&D Pharmacology
- HIV/AIDS Risk Assessment Risk Reduction
- Counseling Ethics
- Clinical Evaluation (ASAM)
- Cultural Diversity
- Co-occurring Disorders
- Addiction Treatment Evidence-Based Practices
