Addiction Counseling – North Carolina
Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)
North Carolina requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s degree with a clinical internship from a regionally accredited college or university.
Practicum Requirements
The degree must include a 300-hour practicum where the applicant receives supervision at a ratio of 1 hour for every 10 hours worked.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must take CRIS 606 Acute Stress, Grief and Trauma as an elective.
