Addiction Counseling – Northern Mariana Islands
Certified Addiction Counselor (Level I/NCAC I)
Northern Mariana Islands requires that applicants for this licensure have an AA degree or higher with a clinical application, including at least 270 clock hours of substance use disorder related topics, six hours of which must be related to ethics education and training within the last six years and six hours related to HIV/AIDS/Other pathogens education and training within the last six years. If not received with degree, these hours can be obtained as advanced coursework outside of the school setting.
