Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC)

Michigan requires that applicants for this licensure have a master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, social work, addiction studies, art therapy, or marriage and family therapy with 186 total education hours. Of those hours, 180 must be specific to SUD and 6 hours of ethics.
