The Pacific Behavioral Health Collaborating Council and Certification Board is a regional non-profit and certification body. The PBHCC membership consists of each of the 6 island nations SSA’s top health leadership, ministers, and/or behavioral health directors which includes representation from American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau.

The PBHCC/CB is a member board of the IC&RC and the current certifications offered are Addiction Drug Counselor, Certified Prevention Specialist and Peer Recovery Specialist. Although the PBHCC, through the IC&RC, issues the certifications they also must be reviewed and approved by local licensure boards where applicable.
