I graduated from LUSON’s BSN program in 2016. After graduation, I started working in the Emergency Department at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and have been working there ever since. In January 2019, I also started working as an adjunct clinical instructor for LUSON for Medsurg students in Richmond at St. Mary’s Hospital.
I have loved being able to teach student nurses and watch them grow in their knowledge and application. I am currently enrolled in LUSON’s MSN/MBA program, with a plan to graduate in May 2022.
One thing I love about LUSON is how much every single faculty pours into and values students and each other. LUSON quickly becomes a part of your family. I have been so blessed to be a part of LUSON both as a student and as a clinical instructor.
My husband, James, and I met at Liberty and got married the summer after I graduated in 2016. We are both in grad school, but in our free time we enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, camping, playing disc golf, board games, getting coffee together, and helping with the youth ministry at our church.
