Summer Experiences: GVI – Marine Life Preservation in the Canary Islands
Marine Life Preservation in the Canary Islands
Volunteer in the Canary Islands and see the loggerhead sea turtle peacefully gliding between the sandy ocean floor and its sunkissed surface and watch pods of Atlantic spotted dolphins socializing with their bottlenose friends. GVI works collaboratively with local organizations to contribute to dolphin and whale conservation in the area. As a volunteer, you’ll assist with the preservation of marine life such as dolphins and whales. Here, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and practical skills, like species monitoring, data collection and reporting and make an impact at the same time.
You can also hear from and speak to GVI staff and experts directly at our monthly virtual Open Days: https://www.gviusa.com/gvi-open-day/. Register now for your Open Day discount!
All GVI Programs have rolling start dates (every two weeks) throughout the summer. Each individual opportunity lists their start dates on the ‘Dates & Prices’ page.
Program fees range from $2000 upwards depending on duration and focus.
