Summer Experiences: GVI – Conservation on the Beaches of Thailand
Conservation on the Beaches of Thailand
GVI
Travel to southern Thailand to live and volunteer in Phang Nga, a province along the Andaman sea. Contribute to conservation projects in a region consisting of mangrove forests, limestone cliffs, white-sanded beaches, and tropical islets. Participants may have the opportunity to lead lessons and workshops in local schools providing English language lessons, aid our Royal Naval marine turtle head-start partners, undertake village and beach cleans, or take part in various biodiversity surveys. On the weekend, or after your GVI volunteering project, you can visit Ao Phang Nga National Park to learn about the largest mangrove forest in Thailand.
You can also hear from and speak to GVI staff and experts directly at their monthly virtual Open Days: https://www.gviusa.com/gvi-open-day/. Register now for your Open Day discount!
