Summer Experiences: Daystar Baptist Missions – Join a Church Planting Team in the Dominican Republic

As part of the internship program, interns can expect: service with the local church and multiple ministries of the DR Vision (such as Las Palmas Christian School, Mercy Workshop women’s rescue ministry, Lifehouse girls home, sports ministry, etc.), placement on internship teams where team-building and cultural ministry challenges are incorporated, 40 hours of Spanish instruction, a missiology class taught by an experienced missionary, an assigned mentor for the duration of their stay, assisting with visiting missions teams, a special leadership retreat to another part of the island and cultural excursions to deepen their appreciation of the people, culture and landscape of the Dominican Republic.
