MA Pastoral Counseling and Church Ministry

Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling — Discipleship and Church Ministry

The online Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling — Discipleship and Church Ministry program offered by Liberty University School of Behavioral Sciences prepares students to serve in the local church and other ministry settings as a non-licensed counselor. Courses explore small group ministries, family discipleship, and church administration, as well as how to lead a healthy church.

Graduates from this program are prepared to serve in a number of positions, both in the church and with other Christian ministries. Students are encouraged to evaluate their own specific needs and to take advantage of available resources for personal and professional development as they seek a degree relevant to the field of pastoral counseling which is a non-licensed profession in the majority of the United States.
