Recently, two individuals won substantial Liberty University scholarships to assist them financially in earning their college degrees.
Brian Crosson of Oklahoma City was the recipient of a $10,000 scholarship to Liberty’s online program, Liberty University Online.
“A few months ago, I really felt the Lord telling me that I should be in [a] marriage and family counseling [program]. While this feeling was overwhelming, I came across the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship to Liberty University, a Christian school with awesome military benefits and a wonderful program for marriage and family therapy,” Liberty Online student and scholarship winner Crosson said. “What's even more exciting, though, is that I won this scholarship! I don't know how or why this happened to me, but I know Who made it happen. Thank you so much Lord for Your mercy, grace, and affection.”
Glenny Cuello Feliz of the Dominican Republic was awarded a $5,000 scholarship to study with Liberty’s online bilingual program, Liberty University en Español.
“I am thankful to God, to Liberty University, and to all the staff that have been very attentive to me. This scholarship will be a blessing to me since I signed up for online classes out of faith,” Liberty en Español student and scholarship winner Cuello Feliz said. “I actually did not know how I was going to find the money to complete my studies, but it is God who knows our hearts. I will do my best to achieve my goals with the opportunity that God and Liberty have given me.”
These two students are now able to start their journey toward achieving their educational goals. Students are always encouraged to explore scholarship and grant opportunities to take their education to the next level.
