Liberty University has announced Dr. Ed Hindson as its new dean of the School of Religion. Hindson has served at Liberty for more than 20 years, including the past 14 years as a distinguished professor of religion.
“Dr. Ed Hindson brings to his deanship of the School of Religion a sterling reputation as one of seven distinguished professors at Liberty University, as a frequently published author, as a much-in-demand speaker in America’s leading churches, and as one of Liberty’s most perennially popular professors,” said Dr. Ron Godwin, Liberty’s provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs. “As a distinguished scholar with nationwide contacts, I anticipate Dr. Hindson will soon add a number of academicians of like reputation as the Liberty University School of Religion continues to grow.”
