Liberty University Online is among the nation’s Top 10 online colleges for the second year in a row.

With a 96 percent acceptance rate, the program now touts the highest number of student acceptances within the Top 10 schools on the list by the Online Education Database. It also stands out for providing a strong financial aid rate.

The annual evaluation by the Online Education Database is based on acceptance rates, financial aid packages, graduation rates, peer web citations, retention rates, scholarly citations, student-faculty ratios and years accredited.

LU Online’s prestigious ranking placed it ahead of other well-known online programs, including the University of Phoenix, Walden University, National University, Colorado Technical University, ITT Technical Institute, Kaplan University and Capella University.

“Liberty University’s online program is committed to providing quality and service to our students that will help us continue to achieve high rankings and be a leader in online education in the world,” said Chris Johnson, LU’s vice president for enrollment management.

Offering more than 35 degree options, Liberty University Online is a non-profit program backed by the largest Christian evangelical university in the world. Nearly 30,000 students currently turn to LU Online to meet their education needs.
