You can’t miss it. Just past the newly renovated Williams Stadium there’s another stellar structure towering high above the Liberty University campus. The former site of the Hancock Athletic Center has been a swirl of activity for months, as the new three-story, 32,000-square-foot Hancock Welcome Center becomes a dominant feature on campus. On Thursday, July 28, workers placed the cupola on the building, which is expected to be completed by Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 14-15. The center will include a large meeting room and smaller counseling rooms, a theater and a gift shop.
