The Liberty University Online staff celebrate enrolling 55,000 students.
Liberty University Online celebrated reaching the 55,000-student milestone on April 15.
Liberty’s Vice President for Enrollment Management, Chris Johnson, hosted the event and expressed his gratitude for the Chancellor’s support and credited the efforts of the staff for reaching this enrollment goal.
“This is a historic day for our university, and each of you has played a major role in helping us reach this goal,” said Johnson. “As we celebrate this milestone, we are looking to the future with excitement and a continued commitment to offering quality academics to our students.”
Liberty Chancellor and President Jerry Falwell, Jr. and his wife Becki, attended the ceremony, commending the staff for their dedication and commitment to excellence.
In his comments, Falwell noted that Liberty Online ranks No. 1 in the nation among top online universities and, as the largest, non-profit university in the nation, reinvests back into the university and academic programs.
Liberty Online is on pace to enroll 60,000 students by the end of the summer term.
