Discussions (4)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each Discussion. Each thread must be at least 400 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge; a minimum of 3 scholarly resources must be included within the main discussion post. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 200 words and include at least 2 scholarly resources for support.
Develop Your Framework Assignment
The student will create a first draft of the grant proposal to address components using current APA format. The paper must include starting background, methodology and references to support the proposal, along with appropriate headings for key components of the proposal.
Budget and Timeline Assignment
The student will create budget and timeline documents to align with the grant proposal requirements. This assignment will consist of two distinct components (budget, timeline) to provide clear alignment with the proposed grant action items.
Cold Reader Assignment
The student will finalize the grant proposal in alignment with criteria noted by the funding agency. This is the first part of a two-part process for review by an external party unaffiliated with the proposal document. The proposal document will be aligned with the funding requirements to include all required components for review.
Think Like a Reviewer Assignment
The student will engage in a peer review process to obtain feedback and provide it with another classmate. This is the second part of a two-part process for review by an external party unaffiliated with the proposal document. The student will give constructive feedback to aid in development based on course learning.
Self-Assessment Quizzes (3)
Self-Assessment Quizzes are checkpoints to allow consolidation of information through a specific point in the course, along with the opportunity to share obstacles and learnings that contribute to the grant proposal. These will consist of 4 to 5 short answer responses to communicate with your instructor.
