Course Description

The Comprehensive Examination is comprised of seven individual exams that include content from the seven core courses in the Master's program.

Rationale

The purpose of the comprehensive examination is to allow students to demonstrate their substantive and integrative knowledge of the field of Sport Management. The exam will stimulate reflection on students’ previous studies thereby eliciting the broad and comprehensive knowledge and understanding required in transitioning to either the internship experience or thesis research.

Course Assignment

After reading the Course Syllabus, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

There are seven individual quizzes that address program completion and professional development topics relevant to working in the sport industry.
