Course Description

This course is the last step in the dissertation process. Students will defend their dissertation and finalize their dissertation manuscript for publication.

Rationale

Course Assignment

As the first assignment in this course, the student will read the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations. Then he or she will complete the Course Requirements Checklist. The student will be allowed multiple attempts, and his or her highest score will count toward his or her grade.

Using the guidelines available in the Dissertation Handbook, the student will plan, prepare and present his or her Dissertation Defense.

After presenting his or her Dissertation Defense, the student will submit his or her dissertation to Scholars Crossing. This is a requirement for the student to receive a final grade in the course.

Graduation

The student must complete the requirements and paperwork necessary for graduation. Graduation information can be found on the Registrar's Website.
