Course Description
Extended field experience in a cross-cultural setting providing for the on-site application of skills. This course serves as the basis for field research for the master's thesis or project.

Rationale
The research process is a site experience in which the student demonstrates the practical application of learner outcomes. It provides field experience for doing research and demonstrating the potential for career service as an ethnomusicologist.
