Each year, graduates are selected to receive prestigious awards at Liberty University Online Academy’s graduation ceremony.
In addition, special recognition is given to students who participate in the associate degree track and Beta Club. We recognize the hard work that each of our students puts into their education.

Every year, LUOA selects 2 students to represent LUOA as our school’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian!
The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will have an opportunity to address the LUOA senior class as part of the May Commencement activities.

Full-time student with 12th-grade status
Minimum of 2 full years of attendance at LUOA
Cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher

In February 2024, all students who meet the criteria will be contacted by email and invited to apply.
Students will have until February 29, 2024, to complete the application.
In March 2024, LUOA’s Selection Committee will review all applications and select award recipients.
Once selected, the recipients will be notified and given the next steps to prepare for graduation in May 2024.

Community Service Awards
We want to recognize those who go above and beyond to serve their communities. As part of the May 2024 Commencement activities, each selected student will receive an award and recognition, and we will share their work via video!
