This week is teacher appreciation week! Teachers work so hard and do so much for their students, so let’s thank a teacher! Below are some ways to show the teachers in our lives some appreciation:
Write a thank you note or draw them a picture!
If you are unable to mail a handwritten note, you can always take a photo of it and email it to your teacher.
Film a video!
Send a video to your teacher of how much you appreciate them.
Send them an online gift card!
It doesn’t have to be a lot, but just a small gift can make teachers feel so appreciated and loved!
Create a class collage!
If possible, students in the class can film videos of themselves saying what they love about their teacher or take photos of them holding a sign of what they love most about their teacher. These could then be edited together to send the teacher an entire class of thankful students (and parents!)
We are so thankful for all our teachers at LUOA. They represent Christ in the way that they teach and care for our students. LUOA would not be LUOA without them!
LUOA can be considered a hybrid of homeschooling and online private school for grades K-12 and Dual Enrollment. You will experience the full support that you will see at a private school, such as accreditation, teacher support, record-keeping, and more, all while experiencing the flexibility of homeschooling. Kayla works at LUOA as the Social Communications Coordinator/Graphic Designer. She graduated from Liberty University in May of 2020 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree. Kayla grew up in Mount Airy, Maryland, and in Denver, Colorado as well, so both places feel like home to her. She loves to dance, spend time outdoors, and explore new places!
