Biography

Bichundo Lambert is an Assistant Professor at Liberty University School of Nursing. Mrs. Lambert and her husband, David, have four children. She has been a registered nurse (RN) over fifteen years. During her career as an RN, she has worked in Medical Surgical (MS) and  intermediate units at Lynchburg General Hospital (LGH) in Lynchburg, VA. She obtained her Nursing Diploma from LGH, then went to get her BSN-Nursing from Western Governor University, Salt Lake, UT, and MSN-Ed from Liberty University. Mrs. Lambert is a DNP-FNP student at Liberty University School of Nursing (LUSON). As a Christian nurse, she is dedicated and passionate about caring for the sick and brokenhearted. Prior to taking a position as a full-time faculty member at LUSON, she was a Medical Surgical clinical instructor for Junior level at Centra College of Nursing for five years, Liberty University School of Nursing over six years, and Teacher Assistant (TA) for one year. She is currently a member of the International Nurse Association and Critical Care Association and Local Chapter of Lynchburg, VA. Internationally, she has volunteered with International Medical and Health Organizations in distributing medical equipment and services to Indigenous people of Centra Africa, South Sudan, and South Africa.

During the COVID 19 outbreak, she stepped up to provide care for critical patients in both the intermediate and critical care units dedicated to COVID19 isolated patients. She provided spiritual and emotional support for up to 40 staff members when skilled nursing facilities lost 85% of staff due to COVID19 illnesses. Mrs. Lambert guided COVID19 dedicated unit CNAs and support RNs to coordinate safe, empathetic care for patients under extreme stress.

When not at work, she is actively involved in the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), to support teachers and enrich the educational experience of students in community. She enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and travelling with her family to explore the beauty of God’s creation.
