Student art club hosts ‘Style Your Sole’ event

The Studio Creative Community, an LU art club, hosted a “Style Your Sole” event Monday at the DeMoss courtyard.

Student artists were on hand to help decorate shoes that were pre-ordered by students. There was also live music, food and coffee donated by local businesses.

The club partnered with TOMS Shoes for the event. For every pair ordered, a pair is given to a child who has never before owned a pair of shoes.

The Studio Creative Community is advised by Professor Stacy Cannon of the Visual Communication Arts degree program.
